INA, Illinois (KBSI) – Two Ina residents are facing child pornography charges.

Tyler J. Stover, 28, and Julie R. Bulthuis, 25, are both charged with child pornography.

On the afternoon of August 8, detectives and officers from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Stover and Bluthuis at 511 S. Cross Street in Ina.

They were arrested on Jefferson County warrants, each charging them with child pornography.

The investigation was launched after a complaint was received by Mt. Vernon Police on July 1.

Investigators concluded that the allegations originated from Ina. The sheriff’s office was asked for assistance and detectives took over the investigation.

On July 2, search warrants were obtained and executed for the same Inas home, where evidence was seized and submitted for forensic analysis.

Investigators say the investigation has revealed evidence of criminal activity in which a minor family member was also involved as a victim.

The results of the investigation were forwarded to the public prosecutor’s office for indictment and arrest warrants were issued.

Stover and Bulthuis were taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
