For weeks, the teen’s disappearance remained unsolved. However, a popular Twitch streamer shared that a recent broadcast from Florida caught the attention of someone who thought they recognized the missing teen.

FaZe Lacy tweeted that the teenager’s brother had contacted him directly.

“(Three) months ago, a 17-year-old boy disappeared and was accused of murder. Yesterday he joined me and Clix on stream and now his family knows he is alive and in Miami,” Lacy wrote. “The internet is going crazy,” he added.

On Thursday, Flint Township Police issued a “heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came forward with information regarding the disappearance of Troy Coleman.”

Police confirmed that the missing teenager was found safe and sound in Miami.

“We are working with local authorities to arrange his safe return to Michigan so he can be with his family,” police said.
