Tyler Technologies offers integration with alternative transport provider

PLANO, Texas – Tyler Technologies, Inc. announced an agreement to integrate with alternative transportation provider ADROIT through the Onboard iPaaS network. This integration will enable school districts or organizations using this provider along with Tyler’s transportation management software to identify students in need of an alternative transportation solution.

Tyler Technologies’ Onboard iPaaS is a centralized data exchange that enables school transportation managers to bridge the information silos between technology providers both within the transportation department and across the enterprise. It provides transportation managers with more customization and flexibility to support the needs of their communities.

Beacon Mobility’s ADROIT specializes in ridesharing-style alternative transportation platforms for students with non-traditional needs, special education, and paratransit, enabling transportation managers to find flexible solutions for students who need more than a traditional route plan.

As an onboard iPaaS integrator, ADROIT technology can be used to pull a list of identified students from Tyler’s transportation software, perform tasks, and return status updates to the school district or organization. All information exchanged between the district or organization and the vendors is encrypted and shared in real time.

This integration simplifies alternative transportation management and makes it easier for transportation teams using both Tyler and ADROIT solutions to:

· Providing more sustainable, flexible and efficient transport options

· Addressing challenges such as traffic congestion, environmental concerns and costs

Transport students requiring unusual or additional transportation plans, including the following situations: McKinney-Vento, foster care, IEPs or disability requirements, hard-to-serve or out-of-school district areas, students of private or co-ed school districts, and in some cases general education students due to driver shortages.

In addition to alternative transportation providers, other Onboard iPaaS integrators include dispatching from ByteCurve, ID card management from CI Solutions, and passenger and tablet solutions from ReaXium, SMART Tag, and CalAmp K-12. Integrated transportation providers include DATTCO, Cook Illinois Corporation, and First Student. Learn more about the growing Onboard iPaaS network here.
