Heather Louise McClurg

Heather Louise McClurg, 36, a beautiful soul with a contagious smile who was loved by all, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in Elliott County, Kentucky from complications following an automobile accident. She resided in Olive Hill, Kentucky.

She was born on May 31, 1988 in Morehead to Zachary McClurg and Denise Kay McClurg.

Heather was a housewife and a Christian.

She graduated from Rowan County Senior High School in 2006 and also received her associate degree from Ashland Community College.

Heather enjoyed the outdoors, horseback riding, camping, fishing, riding her side-by-side, and woodworking.

Her brother Ryan William Ayres had already died before her.

She is survived by her fiancé, Aaron Dickerson of Olive Hill, her father and stepmother, Zachary and Pamela McClurg of Hillsboro, Kentucky, her mother, Denise McClurg of Olive Hill, a son, Jakob Tucker Sloan of Olive Hill, her stepson, Aaron Dickerson III of Olive Hill, a daughter, Alaina Lou Dickerson of Olive Hill, two brothers, Shawn Kay (Tammy) of Lexington, Kentucky and Dr. Mitchell Richmond (Jenna) of Powell, Tennessee, her half-brother, Zachary McClurg (Cindy) of Hillsboro, Ohio, her stepbrothers and sisters, Jeremiah Fuoss (Willow) of Lexington, Becca Chowning (Snider) of Georgetown, Kentucky and Brian Fuoss (Ashley) of Lancaster, Kentucky and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating.

Burial will then take place at Siloam Cemetery.

The viewing will take place on Friday after 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Jakob Sloan, Shawn Kay, Zach McClurg, Dr. Mitchell Richmond, Aaron Dickerson and Taylor Dickerson.
