Flint, MI (July 7, 2024) – Authorities in Flint were called to assist at the scene of a car accident that occurred Saturday morning, July 6.

Reports from 911 dispatchers in Genesee County indicate that around 11:50 a.m., a vehicle crash blocked several lanes on the northbound side of Interstate 475. The incident prompted authorities to close a section of the road near Robert T. Longway Boulevard while they worked to recover the vehicles involved. Medical personnel arrived at the scene to treat the injured. At least one victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment. Police are currently investigating the crash.
