TxDOT seeks input on proposed improvements to US 190-SH 36

The meeting will take place on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

ROGERS, Texas – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking comments on proposed improvements to US 190 and Highway 36 from Temple to Rogers.

The improvements are designed to accommodate a future extension of I-14 and will take place on Thursday, July 11, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Rogers High School cafeteria. Participants are welcome to come and go as they please.

Proposed extensions along US 190 and Highway 36 include an extension project from Highway 95 to BU 190, also known as “Segment 3.”

The corridor is part of a larger project to extend I-14 from Belton to BU 190 in Rogers.

TxDOT says there will be no official presentation at the public meeting, but presentations will be available for those in attendance to view. Click here to view the materials or search for “I-14 Extension” on the TxDOT website.

Comments and feedback received by July 26 will be considered as feedback on the proposals. There will be a comment form at the meeting for participants to leave their thoughts, but there are other ways to provide feedback, including:

  • Send an email to [email protected]
  • Send comments to the I-14 Extension Project Team – Segment 3, 1608 W. 6th Street, Austin, TX 78703
