CAMBRIDGE, MASS. – In the final week before the Premier Lacrosse League All-Star break, five former North Carolina lacrosse players were in action at the Cannons Homecoming Weekend at Harvard Stadium.

July 5 – California Redwoods vs Boston Cannons
Chris Gray scored three one-point goals as the Redwoods defeated the Cannons 9-7 in a low-scoring game. For Boston, Marcus Holman scored four of his team’s seven goals in the loss. At the faceoff line, Zac Tucci won seven draws and collected four ground balls.


July 5 – Denver Outlaws vs. New York Atlas

Justin Anderson had a point and an assist as the Outlaws lost 17-4 to New York.

July 6 – Utah Archers vs. Maryland Whipsnakes
Defensive midfielder Connor Maher had a ground ball and caused a turnover as Utah defeated Maryland 16-11.

July 6 – Boston Cannons vs Philadelphia Waterdogs
In the weekend’s finale, Marcus Holman scored two one-point goals, one two-point goal and four ground balls. Zac Tucci won 13 of 24 faceoffs (54%) and contributed eight ground balls to the victory.
