WWE’s Tyler Bate undergoes surgery

Former British Champion Tyler Bate has not appeared on WWE television since the July 2 edition of NXT, when he and his brother Pete Dune of New Catch Republic faced the team of Hank Walker and Tank Ledger.

In the later stages of the fight, Bate could be seen resting his right arm, and WWE fans hoped that this was just one of the top-notch performances they have come to expect from the Englishman. Unfortunately, the pain on Bate’s face was very real, as he revealed on social media that he was indeed injured during the fight.

In a short post on Instagram, Tyler Bate announced that he had “…torn his left pectoralis major and tendon from the bone.”

“Yesterday’s surgery was successful and everything is back where it should be. I will be away for some time while I recover.”

Bate added that he underwent successful surgery on Monday, July 8, and will be out of action for an extended period of time.

There is no definitive timeline for how long Bate might be out due to his injury. A good comparison would be when WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes suffered a similar injury shortly before WWE Hell In A Cell in late 2022. Rhodes ultimately missed eight months due to the injury.

However, recovery time varies from person to person and can be affected by numerous factors. Simply put, it is impossible to predict an exact timeline for recovery.

All of us at SEScoops wish Tyler Bate a speedy recovery and lots of luck on his road back to competitive racing.
