The trio of GF Tomlinson leaves the field to compete with Miller Knight

Chris Flint, Andrew Foster and Jamie Braybrook are looking to expand Miller Knight’s £24 million turnover service offering into the regional construction market.

Flint, a former managing director at GFT, is the new head of restructuring at Miller Knight. Andrew Foster has been appointed commercial director and Jamie Braybrook takes on the role of chief estimator.

Flint said: “I was excited by the rise of Miller Knight – and wanted to be part of the company’s growth and help support its continued expansion and performance.

“After meeting Miller Knight’s Chairman, David Dickson, and the other directors and visiting many of their current construction sites, I was impressed not only by the way the company was structured, but also by the commitment of its employees and the company’s collaborative approach to work.”

Mansfield-based Miller Knight is best known for its fire protection divisions.

The company has made a name for itself by carrying out complex and sensitive renewal and refurbishment projects for the public and private sectors and has implemented extensive projects in the areas of education, health, emergency services and housing.

Miller Knight has delivered year after year growth for the past seven years.

CEO David Dickson said Miller Knight’s revenue will double again in the coming financial year, with the order book reaching nearly £50 million.

He said: “Bringing Chris, Andy and Jamie to our team was an exciting opportunity for us.

“The company’s growth to date has been nothing short of extraordinary. We are taking our rightful place among some of the largest firms in the region and will undoubtedly become one of the fastest growing construction companies by 2024.”
