28 stores in Texas to be sold

Kroger and Albertson’s have released a list of Texas stores the companies plan to sell if regulators approve a merger between the two grocery giants.

The list includes the 28 stores in Texas that will be transferred from the merging companies to C&S Wholesale Grocers.

According to Bloomberg, Kroger has begun informing employees at the affected locations that they will become C&S employees once the merger is completed. The companies agreed to sell 579 stores in April.
