50 Cent hints at major collaboration with Tyler Perry

50 Cent and Tyler Perry hint that an epic collaboration is imminent.

On Tuesday (July 9) TMZ met Perry in NYC, where he was signing autographs. During the conversation, the multi-talented artist could hardly contain his admiration for Fif.

“I’m so proud of this man. He’s incredible and he takes no chances. I’m super, super proud of him,” Perry said.

When asked about a possible future collaboration between the duo, Perry replied: “If he wants to. I love that guy.”

The G-Unit mogul practically confirmed an upcoming project with Perry when he shared the video clip on Instagram.

“BIG collab coming soon, sprinkle some Tyler, sprinkle some 50 and (bomb emoji) BOOM (wind emoji) you can’t beat this! HISTORY IN THE MAKING,” he captioned the clip.

Given 50 Cent’s television takeover thanks to the success of his “Power” franchise and the opening of G-Unit Studios in Shreveport, Louisiana, the collaboration is quite fitting.

“We already know that 50 Cent is a powerful mogul in the entertainment industry,” City Councilwoman Tabatha Taylor told KSLA12 on Tuesday.

“But the impact on local businesses will be significant. By repositioning Shreveport as a center of the entertainment industry, we are repositioning ourselves as an entertainment mecca,” she added, further emphasizing the significant impact the studio space would have on job creation and economic growth in Shreveport and surrounding areas.

The “Many Men” hitmaker also celebrated the milestone on his Instagram page, writing, “All roads lead to Shreveport if you’re ready to work in film and TV. G-Unit Studios is officially in Louisiana. BOOM GLG,” alongside a photo of the studio building.”

In 2005, 50 Cent founded G-Unit Film & Television Inc., known for producing popular shows such as “Power,” “Raising Kanan,” and “Ghost” on the STARZ network.
