Hinano Kusaki takes second place in the women’s park at the X Games

Japanese skateboarder Hinano Kusaki, who has been nominated for the Olympic Games in Paris, took second place in the women’s park final at the X-Games on Sunday behind 14-year-old Australian Arisa Trew.

Trew won with 87.33 points, 8.67 ahead of Kusaki. Fellow American Ruby Trew, who is not related to Arisa, completed the podium, trailing the winner by 9.33 on the final day of the three-day event in Ventura, California.

Cocona Hiraki, who will represent Japan in women’s park skateboarding in Paris along with Kusaki and reigning Olympic champion Sakura Yosozumi, finished eighth with a score of 68.33.
