In one of the trailer’s clips, Posey, who describes himself as sexually flexible, revealed to his co-stars:

“The first man I was with was a male prostitute.”

In addition to Posey, “Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets” also stars Kim Zolciak, Macy Gray, Chet Hanks, Ally Brooke, OT Genasis, Johnny Weir and Josie Canseco. A synopsis of the show via TooFab states:

“This season, eight strangers have no idea what to expect when they check into the Villa of Secrets for an outlandish, surreal getaway. Each day, these star guests are surprised with provocative missions that will push them to their limits, uncover their pasts and make them reveal their deepest truths. Eight celebs, one villa…EVERYTHING will be revealed.”

Additionally, Posey is married to alt-rock singer Phem, who is also queer. In a July 2021 interview with NME, he talked about how Phem helped him realize that he is sexually flexible.

“I’ve been with all kinds of people and right now I’m in the best relationship I’ve ever had with a woman and she’s also queer. She’s helped me realize that I fit under the queer umbrella and that I’m sexually flexible, I think. No, not ‘I think,’ I don’t want anyone to take this (interview) and say, ‘Well, he was kind of fickle about that.'”
