Fantasy football draft picks: George Pickens, DeAndre Hopkins, Tyler Lockett
As you prepare for your league, let’s take a look at recent player movements in the fantasy football draft. Here are players whose value rises and falls in the fantasy football draft.
Fantasy Football Draft Advice
DeAndre Hopkins (WR – TEN)
Another injured wide receiver is DeAndre Hopkins, who recently turned 32. Hopkins had an impressive 2023 season with the Titans and was expected to be the WR1 in that offense thanks to his relationship with Will Levis. Unfortunately, a lower leg injury has kept him out of training camp for two weeks now. It remains to be seen if Hopkins will be fully healthy for the season’s opening game.
Tyler Lockett (WR – SEA)
Word from Seahawks training camp is that Jaxon Smith-Njigba is looking very impressive and is ready to make the jump in 2024 after a rather subdued rookie season. Tyler Lockett has always been underrated in fantasy football circles, but as he turns 32 in September, this could finally be the year his value is properly considered.

George Pickens (WR – PIT)
The longer this drags on, the less likely it is that Brandon Aiyuk will end up with the Steelers. Some may see this as good news for George Pickens, but it’s important to remember that no wide receiver in an Arthur Smith offense has ever recorded more than 72 catches in a season. It’s also notable that the Steelers have been looking to add a wide receiver, which gives us an indication of what they believe Pickens’ potential is.
