First clip from Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa (world exclusive)

Ready for your best “Ah Ha!”? The first look clip of “Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa” is finally here.

In our world exclusive clip, Alan receives an uncomfortable briefing from the police when he is tasked with taking charge of a potentially life-threatening hostage situation at his beloved North Norfolk Digital.

Can Norfolk’s favorite son keep calm in this situation?

“I suffer from very aggressive athlete’s foot,” he says. “But that’s the only thing about me that…”

Nice stuff. Check it out above.

In Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa, star Steve Coogan previously described the series as “a bit like ‘Dog Days’ and a bit like ‘Network’.” Coogan’s iconic character ends up in a tense standoff between the police and disgruntled North Norfolk digital DJ Pat Farrell (played by Colm Meaney). Alan’s solution? He talks his way out of it. Obviously.

Alan doesn’t forget his roots, though. Alpha Papa (which was almost called Colossal Velocity) sees the return of favourites from the I’m Alan Partridge series, including indefatigable PA Lynn (Felicity Montagu), rival DJ Dave Clifton (Phil Cornwell) and, of course, everyone’s favourite Geordie soldier turned petrol station worker, Michael, played by Simon Greenall.

And after a recent Twitter campaign titled “Anglia Square, not Leicester Square,” the film will now premiere in Alan’s hometown of Norwich. Online!
