Tonight is opening night for several local and regional high school football teams. The schedule includes a cross-town matchup at Rubick Field in Manitowoc as Roncalli hosts Manitowoc Lutheran.

Two Rivers will play its first game as a member of the Northeast Conference, traveling to Appleton to face the Foxes of Fox Valley Lutheran. Reedsville, one game away from Madison last season, will play the Indians for the first time in Mishicot.

Valders heads to Appleton to face the Xavier Hawks, Kiel travels to Sheboygan Falls and Brillion opens the season hosting the Hilbert Wolves, while the Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran Christian trio heads to Howards Grove to face the Tigers.

Other openers include Denmark heading to Shawano, last year’s Division Four runner-up Luxembourg Casco heads to Seymour to face the Thunder, Kewaunee is home to Racine Lutheran, the Flying Dutchmen from Oostburg welcome the Southern Door Eagles, Sturgeon Bay has a long bus ride to Waupun, Sheboygan North opens in Kewaskum, West Bend West hosts Sheboygan South, Green Bay West hosts Campbellsport, Green Bay Preble hosts Oshkosh West.

Also, Kaukauna travels to Notre Dame, the West De Pere Phantoms host the Hortonville Polar Bears, Green Bay East travels to Appleton West, Green Bay Preble welcomes Oshkosh West, the Oconomowoc Racoons travel north to face Pulaski, Ashwaubenon opens at Oshkosh North, Cedar Grove-Belgium is home to Mayville and Fond Du Lac travels to Sussex-Hamiliton.
