Stacey, 31, grew up in Luton, Bedfordshire and left school at 16. She worked as a shop assistant at Luton Airport before being selected to take part in her first BBC documentary at the age of 21.

Stacey has reportedly been dating fitness coach Sam Tux since 2014. The pair often post pictures of each other on Instagram, and in one of Sam’s recent posts, he praises the star. “I’m proud of you girl. From dodging bullets in Iraq to chasing drug lords in Mexico!! Stacey has signed up for Be sure to come and dance in 2018 and was partnered with Kevin Clifton. About her participation in the show, she said: “I am taking part in Be sure to come and dance this year and my mum is going to explode. 2018 has already been such an incredible year for me, I’ve done some amazing things and am excited to add ‘becoming a dance GENIUS’ to the list! Normally work is very serious for me and can be pretty tough so I’m going to soak up the escapism vibe and bathe in sequins. See you on the dance floor!”
