Keep Tyler Beautiful hosts the annual daffodil bulb sale

TYLER, Texas (KETK) – Keep Tyler Beautiful (KTyB) is hosting its annual daffodil bulb sale through September 27th.

According to the City of Tyler Parks and Recreation website, they are selling daffodil bulbs and mixed Texas native wildflowers through Sept. 27 for pickup in October. The bulbs are sold in bags of 50, and all proceeds benefit KTyB programs and events.

KTyB also announced that individuals can donate bags of wildflowers or daffodils, which will then be planted by volunteers and KTyB staff in the Tyler area.

Daffodil bulbs and wildflower seeds can be ordered here and picked up in the Azalea Room at Tyler Rose Garden Center on October 25. Prices for the bulbs and seeds are as follows:

  • Bag of daffodil bulbs – $25

  • Half a pound of wildflower seed mix – $30

  • One pound of wildflower seed mix – $40

Gardeners who want to start spring with a bountiful harvest of daffodils will also find tips here.
