Marvel confirms MCU’s first R-rated TV show in new teaser

It is not only Deadpool and Wolverine This new show also contributes to increasing ratings for films and television.

While fans believe that blade was canceled, that doesn’t mean Marvel isn’t willing to produce another R-rated project.

Thanks to Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, the MCU has already taken great steps to shed its reputation as a kid-friendly film.

However, the adult content is not quite over yet.

A new teaser for the upcoming Marvel Zombies has announced that the four-part series will have an R rating (also known as TV-MA).

What if…? has given us so many iconic moments, don’t you think?

The first clip from the show promised a far more intense and darker experience than what we are used to, and amazed fans at D23 2024.

For those who didn’t know about the planned new TV series: Marvel Zombies is a spin-off of the fifth episode of the first season of Marvel’s What if…?

The project was first announced in 2021, but with so much happening since then, it’s easy to forget about this show.

Luckily, Marvel Studios gave us a big nudge to remind us of what’s coming.

In the clip shown, Shang-Chi is bitten by a zombie, whereupon his father Wenwu gives Shang-Chi the Ten Rings to save him.

What a sacrifice.

But the dangers remained, as shown in a scene in which Katy uses the Ten Rings to fend off the relentless zombie horde.

This is undoubtedly a dire situation that will only get worse, as within five years the world will be as good as dead due to the zombie burden.

From start to finish, the action in this teaser never let up; it’s a very promising snippet that convinces fans that this R-rated show will take the Marvel experience to a new level.

There is currently no fixed date for Marvel Zombies will be broadcast, but there is much speculation that the release will take place in 2026 at the latest.

So just wait two more years…!

We’re already hungry for more, but we’re not sure if we can hold out that long.
