On Wednesday, August 21, the McClain Lady Tigers played a non-league three-way game against West Union and Piketon.

Piketon won the event with a score of 179, followed by West Union with 183 and McClain achieved a score of 226.

The medalist of the game was Laila Kelley of Piketon with a score of 38.

Among the McClain scores, Kaylin Sterling finished third with a score of 43.

MHS also had a 57 score from Sarah Kegley, followed by Avery Murphy (59), Kate Barrett (67), Audrey Chamblin (77) and Laycee Watson (78).

On Thursday, August 22, the Frontier Athletic Conference Match No. 6 (nine-hole events) was held, which Jackson won with a score of 199.

Next came Miami Trace (206) and in third place was McClain with 209 points. Chillicothe took fourth place (215) and the rest of the scores included Hillsboro (216) and Washington (232).

Aubrey Arnold (Jackson) was the match medalist with a score of 35.

McClain was led by Kaylin Sterling with a score of 43. The rest of the MHS scorers were: Hailey Cornett (52), Abbie Lovett (55), Emma Marsh (59), Kallie Posey (61) and Reese Roble (64).

Hillsboro was led by Emma Yochum with a score of 50 in eighth place.

HHS also had the following individual scores: Reagan Leeth (53), Amani Cumberland (56), Rylea Scarberry (57), Blake Herdman (57) and Halle Jones (60).
