NDP slams Ford for suggesting kids spend afternoon at work instead of in school
QUEEN’S PARK — NDP Official Opposition Leader Andrea Horwath released the following statement in response to remarks Doug Ford made this morning suggesting that taking classes online is good, because it helps high school students get jobs in the afternoon:
“School-aged kids should be in school during school hours, not being forced by Doug Ford to take classes online, without help from caring adults, so they can spend their afternoons working.”
