New deputy principal and 15 additional teachers at Hatboro-Horsham schools
HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Hatboro-Horsham School District has appointed a new elementary school assistant principal and 15 new teachers for the 2024-2025 school year.
The district welcomed Samuel González as assistant principal of Simmons and Hallowell elementary schools. González brings experience as a teacher and literacy specialist and has served as a staff developer and trainer in early childhood education.
At its July school board meeting, the district announced that five new special education teachers had been added to the district: Theresa Hanas (HHHS), Cali Hofsass (Blair Mill), Mary Jane Smith (Blair Mill), Meghan Gavaghan (Simmons), and Morgan Strizziere (Hallowell).
At its August school board meeting, the school district welcomed ten new teachers: Ann Kelly (business/computer science, HHHS), Katharine Edbrooke (special education, KVMS), Shailer Thomas (special education, KVMS), Christina Obman (special education, Blair Mill), Sonia Matura (Blair Mill), Peggy Anne Cammarota (special education, Simmons), Christine Everly (special education, HHHS), Erin Love (special education, Hallowell), Alexis McGrory (special education, Blair Mill) and Arielle Segal (speech and language therapist, Hallowell).
Superintendent of Schools Scott Eveslage also thanked Angel Shands, the superintendent’s administrative assistant, for her many years of dedicated service and sent her best wishes on her retirement on November 4.
