Denton County, Texas – – The Tarrant County Coroner’s Office has identified three people killed in a six-vehicle pileup in Argyle Friday night as the Orozco sisters.
The coroner identified the victims as 63-year-old Gladis Orozco Gonzalez De Cifuentes, 65-year-old Elia Orozco and 69-year-old Odilia Orozco Gonzalez de Alvarez.
According to a Central American news channel, the three women were the sisters of former Guatemalan vice presidential candidate Efrain Orozco.
The Orozco sisters were involved in a six-vehicle crash on Interstate 35W at Crawford Road in Argyle shortly before 7 p.m. on August 23.
The sisters and three other people were taken to a hospital where the three women died.
The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.

Denton County, Texas – According to Argyle Police, three people were killed and three others injured in a six-vehicle pileup in Argyle on Friday evening.
The fatal multi-vehicle crash occurred shortly before 7 p.m. on Interstate 35W at Crawford Road in Argyle
Argyle and Northlane police officers, along with Denton County ESD Paramedics #1, arrived at the scene and found six vehicles and six patients.

All six people were taken to Denton County hospitals by five ambulances.
Argyle Police said three people were pronounced dead in hospital. The other three are still in hospital.
Further details about the victims have not yet been released.
The northbound lanes of I-35W were closed for several hours Friday evening.
Investigations into the cause of the fatal accident are ongoing.
